The Reef

The Reef is a piece of music by Maria Kallionpäa  for which I produced the visuals to accompany it. It was performed by Ting Luo in San Francisco, 4th October 2024 as part of a New Arts Collaboration program. I created the set of artworks for this project, representing, Water, Coral, the Dying of the Coral, and Afterimage. The music was created from an original sound clip of a swimmer approaching a coral reef, and the art was created from coding with colour the hexadecimal from an mp3 source file of the finished piece.
