Freedom without Judgement
Inspiration for these works comes from two mantras, firstly that a woman can wear whatever she wants, and secondly, that feminism is freedom without judgement. They depict women's clothing and appearance, and defend the right of women to present one's self freely, without fearing judgment, intervention or harassment from others. The tactile, touchable nature of these works reinforces the pattern of patriarchal society's owning of women's bodies. Domestic violence and sexual assault are a direct consequence of this behaviour.
